Welcome to UFO Road Trip! Episode 1 introduces the reasons behind UFO Road Trip: testimony by highly credible individuals, unexplainable video footage, and my own personal sighting of a flying metal disk.

The mainstream media seems to be avoiding UFOs as a serious topic. We begin with the fact that a panel of government and aviation insiders stepped forward to announce the reality of UFOs to the public in 2001. This was The Disclosure Project headed by Dr. Steven Greer. The event took place at the National Press Club in Washington DC. If you haven't heard of this major event, you should ask yourself why. Even if the whole thing was only a wild hoax – officials from the FAA, DIA, military, etc. openly discussing UFOs - it still should have made the news. The lack of coverage speaks volumes about how the news media handles UFOs as a serious topic – it doesn't. Also of puzzling interest is the UFO footage filmed by Mexican Air Force pilots in 2004, which received a brief and lighthearted mention by the US Media. One should ask why a more in depth investigation of this amazing footage was not conducted, especially in these times in which national security is a foremost concern to so many people. An analysis has been put forward that these are oil fires burning in the distance. I find this rather insulting to the pilots and the Mexican Air Force in general, for it implies that they are idiots and don't know ground lights from airborne objects. And, finally - the incident that personally pushed me over the edge – my own sighting of a silver disk smoothly hovering over Venice, CA in 2004. I watched in awe with my girlfriend and another onlooker, all of us transfixed. With this incident I no longer needed to question the phenomenon – I knew it was real, and I knew it was time to find others who knew something about it so we could put the pieces together. Hence, the road trip.

It's possible that there is no answer to the UFO Phenomenon. Greater minds than mine have concluded that it might be beyond the human mind to grasp. Nevertheless, we'll take our shot at it. This is a conversation we simply want to share with people. As we begin to place our own probes on other planets, we have proven that an intelligent species can place hardware on other worlds. As we increasingly become a space-faring people, we must consider the possibility that we are not the first.
